Yes, far too many. I agree with Rune, lets go thro them together. You can't get rid of pink or dark insanity though.

Doesn't bother me that there are a lot of maps, but there are some that don't really measure up to the high standards being set now. So I'd go along with an evening where we cull some.

i agree that we need to have a cull in the server but i still think we need to keep up the work on the map editor at least we have stopped the monotony of the same maps being repeated in a sequential loop, lot of nice new maps very well done to all concerned lets keep up the good work

IMO, there a few dodgy maps that could be removed but if you reduce the map count too far it could get tedious. As an example, for the lowered skilled players like myself who tend to rely on a bit of camping in our favourite spots, if the maps came round too quickly it would just turn into a ruck over the best spot.

I've "sussed" about 6 maps where I have a good spot but if they came round too quickly then it would get boring.

Having said that, at least 90% of the maps are excellent and are the reason why the ATO server is so popular.

Forgive my lack of knowledge as i'm the new boy, It sounds like the maps are uniqe to the ATO server, I assumed the maps were generated by Novaworld? If so who creates the maps for ATO? As the new boy can i just say the maps ive played in are very good and thank you to whoever created them...Keep up the good work.

Welcome Keeto...WE create the maps that go into our server...well we create most of them...predominantly DEATH (who makes really good maps)
