this is a good deal. I bought a nas two years ago and had to get my own hdd, mine was a cheep one and total was £150.00
great thing to have if you work on projects from different computers around the home, can be tricky with win7 as it hates NAS but there is an easy workaround.

sorry compo, my apologies if i sound condescending i dont mean to be but in essence its a Hard drive that has the ability to be accessed anywhere on your home network via any pc/laptop/phone/tv rather than having to move data across the network from one machine to the other.
TBH it only helps if you are running more than one pc in the house and you want to access data or if you want to set up a backup that isn't stored on the local machine.

i use mine for storing all my music, video and website files.
this way i have my entire music collection available to all pc's and can work on websites from any on my pc's. it make life soo much easier.
save having 60 gig of music on each pc.

so becuase of the worldwide dismal sales of the 465 (460 was cheaper and faster at stock) companies are getting rid of their stocks of 1gb 465 cards , @ Novatech they are now £163.98, the 460 1gb is £180 BUT with the 465 you also get mafia 2 FREE making the 465 a better vaue-for-money card

FYI the 465 is slower at stock speeds than the 460 (465=607MHz, 460=700MHz) but for the enthusiast the 465 can be over clocked to a core speed of 825Mhz! also on tessellation the 465 pisses all over 460
