Mafia II

So Mafia II was released yesterday, Has anybody got it yet? ... In my opinion its one of the best games of all time!

I "got it" last night, Installed it this morning and had a quick 5 min look. First thing i noticed was it had full support for my xbox 360 for windows controller, No messing around setting up ... It just works.

It has sweet graphics, Not the best in the world but still very nice. Has nvidia physics too.

As i said just had a 5 min look so i havent has chance to see what the story line is like.

Ok heres some screeners, These are pretty early on in the game. These JPEG's really dont do the game justice, The game actually looks alot better.

Its set in the mid 40's, Feels really authentic, Has in car radio that you can chance stations ... It has some classic songs from the 40's we will all have heard before.

To steal cars or open locked doors you have to pick the lock.

You need health you eat, to save the game you sleep, If your wanted by the cops its not as easy as just getting away in the car like like the first one, you have your reg pate changed, you have to go to certain garages to get plates changed.

If your on foot you have evade the cops but change clothes becasue your description has been given to other cops.

Bilbosh.....its a mix of fps, car driving, puzzle solving and completing missions for the Mafia and others, normally has a good story to it based on the first one with some good plots and twists

The best way to describe it is like GTA IV set in the mid 40's, 50's.

With a much better story line, One thing ive noticed about Mafia II is theres less driving that the first one.

Im in the 50's now ... Well after i got out of jail lol.

This game just gets better & better the more you play.

You earn alot of cash in this game, Once you become a "made man" thats is ... You get flash cars, A big home & expensive tailor made suits.

I completed the game yesterday! I feel slightly let down :1 (65):

Yeah its good but not a patch on the first one, Too similar to GTA IV, Low on health you eat, to save you sleep ... To me it even looks like its the same graphics engine as GTA IV .... I prefere the story line in Mafia II but the world seems no where near as "alive" as in GTA IV ... No free ride untill you complete the game either.

Im kind of disappointed, The only thing this has over GTA IV is the story a slightly better story line & very slightly better graphics.
