That article was done back in January before the GTX 590 was official.
The picture shows a cooler similar to the one they used on the GTX 460 2WIN.

I'm sure the 595 is not even a real card .... the 595 is what they where gonna call the 590 back before release.

Soups golden rule of buying a gc
When a new gen card comes out, Buy the best one of the gen before, Ull get it dirt cheap as they are not the newest gen and it will be just as good! :1 (97):

Smashing advice shorty .... I would generally agree with that 95% of the time there .... However if you done that with the GTX4xx range of cards you would have been getting a GTX2xx modle ... This way you would have been missing out on DX11 and you would have been getting GDDR3 memory instead of GDDR5 you get with the GTX4xx series.
If for example you had a GTX4xx modle card there would be no technological difference between say my GTX580 and a GTX460 .... Its just got more on board memory and its alot faster but its exactly the same technology ... My card is basically around the same speed as x2 GTX460's in SLi.
For me going from a GTX260 to a GTX580 was a massive difference & worth every penny.
