Hi guys,
I need help with my pc, got a 1mb link but when surfing the net it seems real slow loading pages. Do you know of any decent accelarator software??? Or is there anything i can do my end to speed it up?

What internet browser do you use ? microsoft internet explorer ? try firefox, its alot better. http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

You could alos try running spybot.

Just loaded firefox on.......jesus thats quick!!!

I run a virus check(Norton) every week, and have Spyware Doctor do a full scan on start up and have it running in the background aswell....

It seems to have got a lot quicker now by just changing to Firefox, come to thing of it I have had this problem since the last XP service pack(was it SP2??). Probably something in that, that was slowing it down.

Heres a way to make Firefox run even quicker.

All you've got to do is type "about:config" into your address bar, wait for it to load, then alter the following entries: change "network.http.pipelining" to "true", "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true" and lastly "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to 30, meaning it will be able to make 30 requests at once. :;):
