Ahhhhh ... the old 'meaning of life' question?
The answer could be long, deep, and complex. Or ... you followed a trail of biscuit crumbs.
Probably the second option.

Maybe I'm just a pedant at heart but this always sets me off. Anyway, since this is the first time it's happened here, I'll say my piece.
"Meaning of life" question - that's a Monty Python film. As far as I'm aware, the question is never answered but there's a few amusing sketches along the way. Plus some "french" waiter spouting off.
"42". "The answer to life, the universe and everything." - that's Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy (Douglas Adams), which has "a stately home" PDT_Armat: to do with Monty Python.
Btw, for the benefit of anyone who hasn't seen the TV series, read the books or listened to the original radio series, a computer was built to come up with the answer to life, the universe and everything. The answer it gave, after a lot of thinking time, was 42. As nobody understood the answer, a new computer was designed to come up with the question. However, moments before the question was calculated, the computer (known as The Earth by its inhabitants) was blown up by a Vogon Constructor Fleet. However, by a course of events too weird to describe here, one of the inhabitants was transported back to Earth several (million?) years earlier and used a pre-historic scrabble set to construct the question. And the question was...
"What do you get if you multiply six by nine?"
Btw, the mice that Hengis referred to - Benjy and Frankie - are actually hyper-intelligent pan-dimensional beings.
