Right guys, i have decided to invest in a new pc. The whole base unit needs replacing. I have been looking around in recent months and have check out a couple a different things. But i always feel there is a better deal to be had out there. And i figured some of u would know where PDT_Armat:

So im looking for either a p4 3gig+, or i would take an amd 64, if it was part of a good deal. Budgets around £600 but could be extended (credit card PDT_Armat: ) but preferably not. Not to bothered about the grfx card as long as it can handle most of todays games, as i can always upgrade in the next 6 months.

I have considered buying all the components seperately, but wouldnt really know how to do it PDT_Armat:

So if u were looking for a new rig, with those specs and in that price range were would u shop

Cheers guys Steve

do you need a onitor as well or just a base unit, where are you based as buildig is no problem as long as you can pick it up fom Birmingham ?

Just built a good system just the base for about £430, that was for a p4 2.8.
