The world has been ravaged by terrorists. America has been attacked with biological weapons and has retreated from Iraq. London has been leveled with a nuclear suitcase bomb and again Britian feels alone.
France has fallen to Al Qaeda's new army that sprang from Iraq and is attacking the free counties of the world through unrestricted warfare and sheer terror.

The President of the United States has called on the last of the special forces to wage war through what we call....Black Operations.


* Wage war with 19 new weapons not before seen in Black Hawk down Team Sabre.
* Play on totally newly designed Multiplayer maps or make your own with the new mission editor that has 91 new objects to choose from
* Over 11 new maps
* Fight in snow, desert, or new jungle settings with much new jungle foilage
* Over 8 new Terrains...some taken from Land Warrior
* Climbable trees
* Make yourself blend in with the 7 new player skins
* Play a gunner and now be able to site your weapon with the new iron sites for all of the gunner weapons
* Be a CIA Op or Special Forces Op
* Cringe as the 114 new sounds make you feel like your really on the battlefield

Disclaimer: This mod will require a little more resources to run than BHD but if you run Team Sabre maps ok you should be good to go. Also, the story line is purely fictional and has no political condentations.

d'l d it, installed it, played it.

it's nice, some new maps, terrains etc, new buildings (xcept they look like they're from LW to me...)

weapons, yup - its got those. you'll be glad to know that the FNMAG is back!

there are a coupla blackops mod servers running, and the gameplay is good.

ROF could be higher on a coupla weapons and the skins dont seem to quite work as advertised, but part from that its ok.

tried it, looks pretty nice, love the new foliage and the ability to climb trees

new buildings are a welcome addition as well, as i'm pretty tired of those standard BHD/TS ones.

and for the weapons i dont care as long as it shoots ;)

Yeah, we ran a server up tonight and gave it a good play test. Its sort of a JO LW mix and match. 10 new maps, all better than the TS ones, but that aint hard.

Erm weapons are fun. Meds have got a slienced mp5 and clays/satchels. Along with the P90 which is ace. Theve iron scope the m60 and saw and gunners have 2 rockets. And CQB have a shed load a new weapons. Theres a AUG which has heavy recoil but has a x6 scope that meds also have. But the only gun with nades is the AK47/203

Snipers are gonna love it (grrrrrr PDT_Armat: ) theres an M22, which has the firing rate of an M21, with a x 14 scope. And the P11 has a x6 scope but is fully automatic.

Personally I love the GLOCH, fully automatic sidearm, and funny as hell. And the SPAZ shotgun is a fully automatic sidearm.

The guys that played it all liked it, so id say give it a go, u might like it

Oh, btw, u can still run the normal BHD/TS, even with the mod. Its a seperate exe

Like 55 said had a good dabble, seems really cool, weapons are freakily good, buildings make a pleasant change, enjoyed it, I suggest u give it a try u don't have to stick with it.

i playd it also in the [zp] server, its a cool game, nice weapons, nice maps PDT_Armat:

the only thing that i hated is , that the cqb only can fire at automatic, not single shot PDT_Armat:

i used the sopmod M4 with a scope ( very ussfull PDT_Armat: ), as a CIA CQB, and i could not change my fire rate into single shot like the car15 ore the m16, i noticed that with the other weapons also


so i put a few bullets in someone in stead of one, i dont have a problem with that PDT_Armat:

How do you install it? Just add it to the BHD directory or what? Looks an odd file typpe to me - unless my download snagged up.

Haven't read the full thread here so someone may have corrected ur gross mistake there in saying that the SPAZ is a fully automatic sidearm...the SPAS 12 is actually a fully automatic assault SHOTGUN...definitely aint gonna get one of those in a pistol holster...lol

When I go to run it I get an error message "This application has failed to start because IBrowse.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem" (it didn't)

Any ideas?

ok ... fixed that. It was to do with the folder it was installed in.

Next problem ... I get to the new intro screen ... grey wallpaper with ppl and vehicles, game title etc ... with a cursor, but no menu or anything to click on. Now what?

i have been hosting this for the past week or so ....its not a bad mod but the textures are rubbish on the weapons although there not badly modeled. The alpha channels are not in the right place also the mussel flashes.... there back to front on some weapons .....it looks very rushed. I like the zigrat towers tho and I'm a fan of the snow skins it makes it good for mapping PDT_Armat:. i made a few maps and converted a few stock desert maps into snow maps heres a pic of house of pain

looks and plays nice with the snow hummers included........The models (buildings foliage ect ect) don't lag too much and have a low polycount just a shame they could of made it allot better.

overall a 5 out of 10............they did make the effort
the textures are rubbish just if anyone asks if i could do better
