My mate (Smitt66) has a problem playing on some of your maps.
there are certain building that are invisible!?
It seems to be buildings with Grey/blueish walls!
most of the time it's alright but when you have one of these buildings in the zone it makes things quite difficult.
I suspect it's probably something to do with his graphics card but I'm not sure.
has anyone else had this problem?
He plays using a laptop!
P4 2.8GHz
1GB DDR Ram
64mb ATI Radeon 9600 Mobility
I've never had this problem on my PC. but then it's alot more powerful than his. PDT_Armat:
Thanks.

The graphics card will have problems with some objects also the fact that it's a laptop won't help. Solution can't think of one except buying a new pc ?

An external monitor on his PC may help a lot if he can do that.
He may struggle a bit with a 64MB grfx card tho - especially if it's JO he's playing.

I think your processor and your memory are ok...the problem I think is your graphics card.
a) it is an ATI
b) only 64mb card
ATI card do not work so well on df-games because the game is made to use G-force based cards
64 mb (32 mb is minimal, 128 or higher is recommended)...you need a bigger videocard... PDT_Armat:

He probably won't be able to change the graphics card in a laptop.

The rest of the game is fine! he can play it at 1024 x 768 with no problems (apart from the above)
tried lowering all possible settings but still no joy!
I don't think it's the capabilities of the card, it just seems to be certain buildings!?
Very strange!!!

It's a laptop!
I've got a 256mb GeForce FX5700 myself - and that works perfectly! PDT_Armat:
must just be the mobility Radeon!??

he needs to get the latest drivers for his radeon, and make sure he has dx 9 in, that should take care of it.
