it automatically scans my computer and then the results might say i have a trojan or 2, but theres never an optoin to put it in the virus vault or anything, its just display results or close....

so that means i have to scan the computer with the other software, and that takes even longer PDT_Armat:

any ideas???

thanks

Open your AVG Control Centre, then go to Program - Launch AVG virus vault. In there you should see your stuff. PDT_Armat:

also, if 'system restore' is set to archive any changes made to your computer, windows will helpfully 'backup' up any virii or trojans you may have.

AVG will find these, but not be able to move them. (dont panic, they are still 'quarantined')

to fix this turn off system restore (http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001111912274039?OpenDocument&src=sec_doc_nam).

rescan with AVG, then turn it back on again.

sometimes avg will not take out all trojens, but it does tell you were they are at, write the location down, then disable avg and then go and manually delete them. PDT_Armat:
