Connect Xbox to PC

Does anybody know how to connect an xbox v1.1 to a pc by a network card?

My m8 bandit of ^BOB^ does this with his, he fitted a big mother HDD also and loads all of his games onto it and can then access whichever he wants from an on-screen menu, I will give him a call for you...

Thanks Fear. But that shows how to connect it for Xbox Live for Internet. but mine aint exctly legal PDT_Armat: so i would get banned as soon as i connected PDT_Armat:.

What i want to know is how to see the harddrives and transfer files over?
