Thanks Soup, that's mega-useful!!
I notice some providers impose a monthly limit on downloads. Of course, this means nothing in real terms to me. However, what I have noticed is that there is one ISP that costs over £240 :wtf: less than I'm paying right now.
While I know that my current ISP has a daily limit of 1GB, I have no idea how much I use. I don't think I've ever been notified that I've been over it but if I am to use an ISP with a monthly limit, I'd like to know how close I'd run.
What would be meaningful would be the number of hours gameplay this limit of 2GB or 30GB equates to.
So, does anyone know how much is downloaded during an hour's gaming on BHD or Joint Ops?

Put it this way dude..
U could have 50 PC's pn a lan to ur modem plaing JO for 24hrs and it wouldnt come close to a GIG....
These limits are to prevent P2P's and addicted downloaders!

I recommend NTL Home. I'm on their £24.99/month option, which gives 750kbps and a daily limit of 1 gig. The TV channel selection isn't what you get on Sky but they do throw in free telephone line rental with their cable TV packages.

Dunno if they are bad for an ISP but their jolt servers are the biggest pile of *********. You can host a better server on 128kbs :)
