Despite my name - I am finding it SO hard to get Basic Knife!!

anyone else having difficulty with the badges?

i dont know when i get those badges PDT_Armat:

i did get a few ribbons, but i cant find them, only the one i get today

and a knife kill, its hard enough to shoot someone PDT_Armat:

I haven't tried the knife one yet.

ground defense and air defense are easy enough, you just find a well placed TOW or HJ-8 or whatever else and sit in it for 5 mins, while shooting things aswell of course =)

Engineer combat?

I got all the Basic combat things for all the Kits within 2 days, their kinda easy really, it's things like First aid and the Non-Comat Engineer things I have trouble with... and all the other hard things PDT_Armat:

One of the things that annoys me is the 'Punish TeamKiller' Option - me feels that if someone takes the 'punish player' option then they should justify why...

I forgive a lot, because I run into LOF's or vehicles, so I consider it my own fault. BUT I notice that the majority just punish quickly without justification... Just a niggle


Another thing is the Punting vote - I notice that some people have 'kicked' logged on their stats. I think if someone initiates a vote to punt someone then they should justify why - albeit only a option box, with say six options:

a, too good for this server;
b, consistent team killing/bad taste in handbags;
c, lagging;
d, for being yodanski;
e, hate this player;
f, for no reason at all...

I know that it's beyond having this fixed into the game now, but it would be nice for those kicked to know why they were...

Ok Knives, here's a tip for that Kinfe Badge you wanted if you haven't still got it.

Go Medic, Engineer or Spec Ops, These are the three kits in the game with the longest sprint time, so if you spot someone ahead of you sprinting, you can hopefully sprint and catch up with them.

Try sneaking behind a main enemy defense point where the majority of the fightings going on. Maybe catch a sniper or two, or just some who have set up camp somewhere and aren't movin till they run outta ammo? PDT_Armat:

And last, try to find snipers, Very very very vulnerable to to knives cuz they always lay still PDT_Armat:

ZzzzZzzzz Got the Air Defense One today, 10mins on a stinger or IGLA in one round! Snore!! It may not be so bad on something like Zatar Wetlands, but I was on a 64player map of Mashtuur city, where there're only one enemy helicopter and it avoids you. PDT_Armat:
