screen lag you wont get, you may get some net lag on the 64player servers, but thats the same for everyone no matter how good your connection

BTW speaking of ram that reminds me, i seem to remember a good few months back there was a topic and something got said along the lines of "theres no point in getting more than one gig of ram at the moment because your computer is only using 75% or so of 1GIG so any more than a gig and ram is going to waiste....... PDT_Armat: i guess this is not true then ??? I cant remember who said this but it was deffos a tin.

windows may not use more than a gig (depends how many apps u got open)

but i know for a fact that applications will use all/any available ram

photoshop for example can use upto 99% of system ram

BF2 does play better with more memory

i did hear that in the store where i get my pc, its maybe good when you need it, but for now, 1GIG id good enough.

the most games requers 512 ram

Yes 1 gig is ok but untill i stuck another 512 in i was a lil framey in explosions and the game was slow to load BF2 uses a hell of a lot of RAM

I'm running athlon64 3200+ with 1Gb ram and a 6800 Ultra and i still get frame lag sometimes. I read somewhere on EA that they recommend a min of 1gb but for good quality you really need 2GB of mem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PDT_Armat: PDT_Armat: PDT_Armat:
