Don't know about it, was just getting the 1.02 update cuz I got a new PC and reinstalled my BF2 and noticed the link. How does it look?

nope, thats the open beta, not the one that was out last week, this one is the official release baby!

it aint as easy as the bhd one, and it crashes occasionally, EA are still working on it, it is a beta..

..avoid, unless u REALLY want to make maps.

missing/incomplete instructions, no info about roads or undergrowth for example.
very complex, switching from terrain editor to level editor, importing files from other maps just to make it work at all.
often doesn't work, makes maps that wont load ruining hours of work.
still no info from EA as to how to get maps on a public server.
crashes to desktop if you try and use a feature thats not implemented yet.

you'll also need to d'l a 700Mb lightmap pack if you want any objects to cast decent shadows.

in the beta, make sure you goto 'help/workshop/level workshop'

and have a read through the posts here

also when editing, test things one at a time, then before making more changes, make a backup of your working directory, this can save you hours of work when it borks up ('cos it will!)
