emailed. Btw, so nobody confuses me with someone else on BF2, my name there is aardfrith.
There's a (v. short) story behind that name. On a game called Aardwolf, my name is frith.

there could be lessons to be learnt here people, zarquon knows how to tell a short story. maybe one or two people who post little things but tend to type on forever without getting to the point of what they are saying, could read zarquons short story take note as to how a short story should look. i.e not 20 lines dribbling on about nothing without ever really making any point, this takes up peoples valuable time, usually bores them a bit and then puts them off reading other posts by that person as they think it will just be 20 lines of drivel with no real point to it. well done zarq. as i said maybe others should look at that and realise that there is no need to type forever to make one minor point.

That's only 8 lines of drivel with no point. You weren't really trying there. I'll run some classes I think.

Looking at pricing etc this morning,,
One big factor that makes a huge diffrence on the length we can purchase a server for is the number of players..
What size server would you guys like?

40.
64 player servers lag like hell, 32 player servers can't host the larger maps (i think), so i reckon 40 players is favorite.
nb. make sure we can install expansion when it comes out (if we want to..)

From what I seen you can actually pick the map size seperate from the player count, I played on a server where they play a 32 map followed by the 64 version.
But I would prefer a 40 player server.

Actually, I'm having second thoughts about my pledge. I've applied to join another squad and if I'm successful (i.e. if they don't check out my BF2 stats!!) they'll be wanting my spare cash.
I'll still look in from time to time, though.
