Unfair Banning

I have been going in to the ATO server for a while now, and I was having a good old time with my buddy f.l.i.c, me and him were havin a good game when I was banned from the server for saying to my buddy flic "I LOOVE JEWW" , now i was just kiddin around, but my buddy laughed, I laughed and someone else in the server seemed to be laughing his @$$ off.....Earlier someone said to my buddy "paddie" which is racist to some Irish people, now there was no banning/kicking on this, but I am pretty sure my buddy, or anyone else found this funny, I think that this was totally unfair, the person that did this was "A TIN OF SCOUSE", I just want some answers please....

2) Punted for the same after some smart remarks and continued use of the words warned for.

3) A player called Kwaj Blazer joined, said hi, the reply he got was "I LOOVE JEWW"

Banned for racist remarks.

To be honest this guy was pushing it along with his m8 f l i c to see how far they could go and wind me up.

We do not tolerate any racist remarks or swearing in our server full stop. If an admin tells you to stop doing something, stop. Don't try to be smart., listen and act accordingly or you find yourself in this position.

Ok, well last time i checked feck, and feckin weren't swear words....now if you want swear words...just ask....And for the smart remarks thing....I like being smart :) And the word "jew" is not a racist remark, if i put the F word or the word "stupid" infront of it, then maybe it would be racist, and me and my buddy flic, were just trying to have fun playing, and YOU went too far with the banning.....And i did stop swearing....then i said "jew" and people laughed....AND ACT ACCORDINGLY......ITS A GAME MAN!!!

Ok lads, First off i mean no dis-respect to any of ye. Ye all have a great squad going on, ye have great members, maps. Its plain and simple the only server i go to on Joint Ops. I have even recommended it many times to newbies on Nova Inside.

I am f.l.i.c - I have played in ye'r server since the begining. FFA-Chief is a mate from the US and we play games online together, one of my best m8z on the net, and the reason im replying to back him up cause i feel he was done wrong.

You may know me as also -ASS-flic (=A$$=~flic~) I recently quit that squad and had to alter the name a bit.

Totally Wrong man. Now it may of seemed we were winding you up. But we were talkign to each other over the comms. I dont think we could of wound you up in any way man.

Chief said "Feck" (he gets that from me, me being Irish) Now you told him to watch his language yes? To some that is a curse word, but i plain and simple told you it wasnt, it was an Irish Word - remember this: someone in the server said something in the lines of "those Irish Paddies", not really a curse word at all. You disagreed and told us it was not tollerated. That was fine man. I wasnt there to pick a fight, argue over something so small.

Now Personally from what I can remember, Chief hadnt really cursed from there on. He had said "Ass". Now i have known him along time, he dose tend to call people names for murdering him. Its not that hes angry, its just a reflex of his. Now you did punt him for that second curse. It was so minior i laughed but agreed you were sticking by the rules of the squad. No Language. I can remember myself telling to stop Language at some stage playing in the Server.

He came back in - asked why? it was only the A word - You told him to stop being smart - He said the "F Word" litereally. Everything was grand there on. Nothing wrong, we were all playing along and we were chatting away, "ha you got me" "nice shot" etc etc. as you do in a game. We were having fun.

Ok at this stage he said to me " I LOOVVE JEWWW!!". To me. he said it to me. He has been chatting mostly to me on the comms in the game so far. For some reason you think he was talking to some other member. I have no idea why you think that. I didnt even think that in the game, only as i read it in your post. You totally misunderstood and you banned him straight away for Racist Remarks.

Now "I Love Jew" he obivousley was joking around meaning to say "I love you". You know thats what he meant. We were joking around having a laugh in your server and so on. You banned him for saying "i love jew". I first of all have no idea what is racist in that..

I complained with you after you banned him asking why? it made no sense, it was too harsh. I asked you how long you banned him for and you wouldnt answer that. You then clearly ignored me, and started talking to another player about their squad who had just made the joke "BAN FLIC FOR BEING BORING"
You think I love Jew was racist, What about the Paddy Joke. That to many Irish is very racist. Its like calling an Amercan a Yank - A Chinease person a Chink. And you said nothing to that person, not a warning.



Now lads, i love you're server, i love you're players. I think ye are a great squad. and literally is the only server i go into in joint ops. I go in pacifically to see if anyone is playing in ATO to have a small game.

Scouse, no disrespect man, but that was too harsh, you are a godo player and i know you were the only ATO in there at ther time, maybe if there were more then one it would of been different but that was harsh.


Id like to know how long you banned him for first of all.

After you have read it from someone else point of view, mine, would ye reconsider.

And finally if you did reconsider, I think you should appolgise to Chief. Totally unfair and to me, you took a mood out on someone else.

take it on the chin, scouse has said what happened and although we hold the ass squad in high regard, i for one will leave it up to the man himself how long youre ban lasts.

no hard feelings, but id trust scouse with my life, i know i speak for all the tins :mrgreen:

im sure he would take it on the chin. But lets be honest - Unfair lads - Where is sportsmanship in anyof this.

I didnt get banned. I left, and honestly, i probable wouldnt come back with the way ye nanage those who go out of line less then an inch. Its not a boot camp - its a game. Take a chill pill lads, you know what i mean? :)

Consider leaving him off at least - Or tell me or him how long he is banned from the server.

No need to talk about A$$ in this. I used to be on their squad, i was just pointing that out incase ye dont remember me before :p.

I know ye are trying to keep it a family server but this is a definate unfair banning of my m8 - reconsidering it is only a small request

I respect what you said, but I still found this ban unfair, and a little to harse, but its your server, and i'll leave you with what you think

Flic was a member with us and was a well respected member of the team, whom respected and played within the rules BOTH our squads operate in order to run a FUN LOVING SERVER.

WE uphold identical values within the SpecOps server, flaunt the sever to your own peril.

Bans and punts set an example to all in the server persistant flaunting and antagonising of Team Members or other players should not be accepted.

This time an EX member of A$$ has gotten embroiled in this post, I can assure you ATO no full member will as we will accept ALL HOST DESICIONS as being made in the interests of ALL Players with in the game.

So dont take anything to heart and dont come looking for revenge, we do have a strict no swearing policy as our children and other children play on the server, plus the fact of thinking if i came into your house and started rippin at you with foul language and saying your house is a dump, what the hell is that on your wall etc i dont think i would last long before you threw me out on me ear. We just wanna have fun and relax playing the game plain and simple.
Im not sure if what i have wrote made sense cause my eyeball's keep bouncing off the keyboard, and it dont help having only 1 arm, plus the fact that Salmon is telling about the time he lived in a tree covered in snow ;)
In other words im tired wanna get to bed good nite all sweet dreams blah blah blah.

P/S. If i dont appear tomorrow morning.............................Just wait longer :P

of course m8 we are not going for revenge lol!

I as dose Chief understands the policey on Language in the ATO Server. I have said it to him many times before we go in, and first when i introduced him to the ATO Server.

And one note before me myself hits the sack - The small Allegory of "my house" lol - Well i can asure you we didnt "rip" at anyone with foul language. saying the server is "dump".

I too want to relax, have a good game with a good friend, but to be clear, we were not doing anything in that manner ya know :) I can see where ye all are coming from.

But the basics of all of this, is the Inadequate banning of a mate.

Maybe, if you can, take a read of the comms message from you're server manager thing'a'majig :)
