Problem 1.

Ok. I'll start with the bigger problem. I am gettin MAJORLY annoyed by these god damn pop ups that I'm gettin. Some when I just come on the computer I get about 10 floating around. I was able to use Spybot to previously rid myself of these annoying things. But recently I've been getting more than DSO exploit, my original pop up problem, now I've got some sort of elite bar coming up on it too.

Now, a couple of things to note. The base of the problem is coming from searchmiracle. Neither me or Clare installed or d/l this, but it's here as our main page. AVG seems to be out of date, and I'm pretty sure that's where our firewall was situated. Even as I type I'm gettin about 5 pop ups ever minute.

Problem 2.

This is probably more for Spam or Crazy as it's a Battlefront problem.

I was playing Battlefront this morning when all of a sudden something changed and it started making my person lie down or crouch when I moved the mouse to look up or down. This makes the game pretty much unplayable. And I've searched my controls clean. Theres some mouse axis rubbish that I don't know what means so I probable need to get rid of that, yea?

Things to note.... I found an update for it this morning. I ran it and installed straight from Lucasarts.com The update was found by the help option on the setup menu when you put the disc in.

I'll be eternally grateful to any1 who can fix either of these problems :smt022

P.S The reason Oats ain't helpin is because he's away at the mo.

If you have Spy-Bot i assume you have Ad-aware also yeah??...

Generally what one misses the other finds, tends to be Ad-aware
for the wee annoying harmless pop-ups & Spy-Bot for the more
nasty stuff!!!...

So if ya don't have Ad-aware you could try that!...I've heard of
some people getting conflicts between the two, though I've never
experienced any!...

Still no joy??...Update your AVG definitions if it's out off date, like
expired out off date...Aquire(AHEM... ) a new one get
it bang up to date then turn off your system restore under "System"
reboot in safe mode and your Anti-virus might just find the root of
your problems!!...(Make sure to enable system restore when you
reboot after this mind!...Don't forget!!)

Or alternatively download Mozilla with the relevant extensions and
sack Internet Explorer cause it's a virus laden,pop-up crammed,
trojan filled pile of poopy!!!...

I tried adaware and that helped mem. But I have no clue whatsoever on how to do the rest.

Nothing like that matt. Apart from the preformance upgrade which I got every now and then. I've tried searching for search miracle in every drive but can't find it. Would like mozilla. Sounds like a nice solution

Update : Battlefront problem fixed.

Pop up problem mostly fixed. Maybe completely. Haven't got a pop up ever since I did the spybot scan. I'll get Oats to do that though mem. Thanks for your help.
