tonites weirdness

some of you may have noticed the weirdness on the BHD server tonite.

apparently some guy was using a hack that caused everyone he shot to be either murdered by theirself or killed by theirself. after checking out what was happening i found the loser using it, his nick was $b.

but i needed SS proof ofcourse.

waited a long time, but in the end i got what i wanted

look here (http://img521.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ss000785dl.jpg), the "$b loser", bridget and me are at the spawn (beginning of map).

then all of a sudden this (http://img524.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ss000802xj.jpg) happened. look how the guy is still at the same spot. (and it was impossible for an enemy to do this)

so well that was about the final drop for me and a murder fest started :D

notice how he got punted after his 5th/6th murder.

people in the server who noticed this hack being used were

it is something to watch out for, cause i've seen it being used (a long time ago), where the hacker could also chat in other peoples names. Getting them banned from the server by the admin while they werent doing anything wrong.

ps: if this is happening again, just make everyone check their teams for a player that is killing people but never has any kills assigned to his name in the kill log (instead a selfkill - nick killed nick with a shot in the head - or a selfmurder - nick murdered nick ).

I have logged the ip's and names etc present at that time, also noted the players that left just before it stopped.
Also the player AFRIKA naming himself as BOSNA is banned (Thanks to FAT)
I'll be looking into this further.

it was major lagg and screen freeze and MAJOR murders too glad some one got to the bottom of it

As Fuzzy mentioned hacks where hacker speaks under a stolen name with intention to bann that player what would be a procedure in that moment?
Hardly that Bridget would say more than few words, however you know I (son) writes this posts for her, it would be hard for her to prove she has been hacked at that point. Can this hack be spotted by an administrator? Murder hack was so obvious, this one however could be much harder to detect cuz majority players do speak english. As far as i can guess only knowing that player could wague betwen bann and hack.

P.S. Also got recordings of a team speak language abuse by Aliensmurf and his companion Aeroxsmurf (if i got the name right)+ pictures of them doing same in the game. Is there language policy on team speak?
Considring that Bridget is using the BHD channel mostly alone (others use public even thou they are in the game at the moment) she couldn't so to say defend against the verbal abuse. She uses the team spek to listen and learn, guess in every language first think you learn are the swearings. :1 (23):

There is a language Policy on TS, unless its in a private TIN Channel then anything goes lmao!
However language on TS - swearing,abusive etc is not allowed in any of the public channels Im sure if someone is about, if possible try to comunicate with some of the Admins there, Admins will have the letters SA or CA by there name. :)
