I'm sorry if this appears a rubbish question but im in a dilema,
I hate my nickname in BF2!!!!:mad:
I put the name in with no real thought of how it'd be when i got on team speak and how people could realistically abreviate it. if your really bored have a look on my profile to find out why i put 'ironman!'
So 'How do I change it!?' and if/when i do, 'how do i then change my username on your forum?'
Obviously i want to keep my rank and score
Im sorry to be a pain in asking and dont want to fill up the forum with useless c**p. So appologies. But help would be required.

easy answer you cant change your name.

you can add a prefix... such as fat -daveironman but thats about all.
i did wonder why u had such a pish name :1 (33): but then the ironman bit made me think you might be really hard..then you may come in uefull one day if we ever need anyones ribs breaking :1 (76): .

i did ask that question to EA myself, because i would like it to add my squadname after my name, ( it should be Yodanski.NoS in stead of yodanski), but they anwserd that they would find a solution.

so with the new update you could add a name (5 letters) in front of youre name, but not after.

its a start, but now i am happy its not permanent, and that you can change that allways when you enter the game.

the reason for this is that my sqaud has ended.

so you are gone stick with that name forever if you gone play BF2.
just add something fun infront of it.

The last patch out introduced the prefix many have used it..

Not 100% sure on how but thinks its on the log in or options screen of ur Bf2 game.

dude i would change the name to somthing your happy with and whilst you havnt got 50,000 points at the moment you might as well change it now,,points mean prizes but within 800 you could have all the guns you need,,mong daveironman has got to be up there with the top worst names ,,,if you were ever to join a squad youd have to start again anyway so choose a name that you could add squad tags to,,,e.g =ILC= IRONMAN

yeah, the computer does it for you. only the other players see you role

if you were to do it with a press of the button the screen would do a 360 where your view has changed as a result of the role.

Try to think of a six-letter (or less) nickname. Easier to remember, doesn't clutter the screen too much, etc. - especially if you ever end up adding squad tags too.
