Which provider is the best for the cheapest outlay. I have been on
ADSL guide website this has been very useful. Still dont know which one as so may out there have asked several providers some are starting to upgrade the modems to ADSL but the Modems are very pricey.
Modems cable are the norm are they the best? :wtf: :wtf: :?: :?:

depends where you live mate...

as to cable versus ADSL, depends on the provider, some cable offers are better than some ADSL offers, but you cant beat a fixed IP high speed ADSL line if you can get it at a reasonable price.

try http://www.zen.co.uk/ if your on a BT phone line.

In my experience, ntl suck, BT are overpriced, blueyonder are pretty good

Recently I have changed from Tiscali 512kB (ADSL) to blueyonder (1.5 MB) and the difference is significant.

Try this link if you want to compare different ISPs

Good luck!
