1.Can anyone help me please with some sites that offer good realistic prices for graphics cards, iam looking for something like the Gainward GF FX6800 PP Ultra 2200 Golden Sample, 256MB DDR AGP DVI TV Out,
or the GeForce FX5950 Ultra 256Mb AGP .
2.Also sites where cards have been tested and offer some advice.
3.Plus any advise from you guys on cards you are running.

whats a realistic price?
here (http://www.hexus.net/content/reviews/reviews_list.php) for reviews, scroll down and select a card.
here (http://www.dealtime.co.uk/xPP-Graphics_Cards--nvidia_geforce_fx_5950_ultra-more_than_256_mb) for the 5950 (though not many places are stocking it online now) :(
here (http://www.dealtime.co.uk/xPP-Graphics_Cards--nvidia_geforce_6800_ultra_) and here (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/GeForce_6800_Ultra.html) for the 6800...
I run an asus 5950 ultra and it rocks. :) i usually get 30 to 60 fps at 1024 on the default settings (depending on the map)
- you may well get a better price in a 'real world' shop on the 5950 than you'll find online as they are more likely to have stock they want to shift.
if you go for the 6800 and your not planning on getting a new mobo make sure you pick up the agp version and not the pci-express
the 5950 keeps up with the 6800 untill you switch on anti-aliasing, then the 6800 shows why it costs so much. :)

Blue here'es the URL for that little reg entry i was talking about.
The card you got is a very nice card indeed with a higher core and faster ram.
to make the best of the card this reg entry "opens up2 your graphics drivers facility to "clock2 from within the drivers. it also gives you the ability to test your settings(in fact you HAVE test before setting the enw clock speeds), this is good as it means it won't let you hump you shiny new card!
http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/GeForce-Overclocking--CoolBits-Reg-Download-2014.html
just unzip/rar the reg file and then right click on it to merge/ no restart needed (IT'S A MIRACLE!) and then right click on yer desktop, go to right click into yer graphics setting, go into advanced and in yer 6800 settings will be a new "overclocking" section.
it's the mutts nuts but BE CAREFUL ig you only have ait cooling. serious overclocking can only be achieved with water and REALLY serious overclocking is for vapour and peltier cooled machines.
I hope you got an SLi card as this would mean that in a years time when your card has become cheaper, you can go by another and run the in SLi mode and get yeself some more than astounding results.
MSI are releasing some damned fine SLi modo's. the beauty of SLi is that the card paired on it dn't have to be a 1005 match or sould i say a "factory match" in that they don't have to be the same manufacturer just the same model, so if you get an MSI 6000gt and mix with yer gainward it will run fine in SLi.
i do believe as well that Gainward use Crucial Ram in their top end card(worth checking to make sure bud) as if this indeed the case with your card it then is subject to Crucial lifetime guarantee.
anyway , hope that helps bud, and happy clocking
