It was infact juliette lewis!
Most know her from films like, Fom dusk till Dawn, Natural born Killers, Kallifornia, My name is Earl, whats eating gilbert grape etc etc etc..
But she now fronts a band called juliette and the Licks, They are touring the UK at the mo with there second album.. If you havent heard her music yo should check out the first alum, " Your speaking my Language " Its awsome. and she kiks ass Live..

I manage to get 4 tickets to a VIP invertation only gig for just over 100 people in brum and got to meet her afterwards,, She was a ledgend! Chatted for a bit signed an autograph for my little couisn and gave me a cuddle and a kiss! Woot!
