kick by punkbuster

i always get kickt by punkbuster.
Why???
some days i dont have any problems, other days i get kickt by it.

i did install that PB file that somebody gave me (forgot his name) and it works fine, for a time.

today (sunday) i did play, and after a while i get kickt!

is there a problem with the game?
is there a problem with punk buster?
is it because i play good?
is it because soup play?
or is it because winter is comming?



the last two is just for the fun i added, and the third one is surrely not the problem.

lol its prob cos ea released a half finished untested game,,,,this may be a long shot but do u have a widescreen monitor cos i found this

i did set my resolution on 1280x960 on 60 Mhz
so i should set it lower then?

you should have ur screen res same as u have the game res but that shouldnt realy give u the punkbuster punts

Stone ive just got a 20" widescreen monitor try to set res as what i have in game, but the game doesnt even load up it just goes to desk top when i launch it any ideas???????

If anyone else gets this problem its becase the resoultion or refresh rate ithat you had is not comatable with the mew monitor.

Goto your BF2142 folder in MY DOCUMENTS and in PROFILEs select the DEFAULT folder and open the video.con file with notepad:

Mine looks like this

VideoSettings.setTerrainQuality 2
VideoSettings.setGeometryQuality 2
VideoSettings.setLightingQuality 1
VideoSettings.setDynamicLightingQuality 2
VideoSettings.setDynamicShadowsQuality 1
VideoSettings.setEffectsQuality 3
VideoSettings.setTextureQuality 2
VideoSettings.setTextureFilteringQuality 2
VideoSettings.setResolution 1024x768@60Hz
VideoSettings.setAntialiasing Off
VideoSettings.setViewDistanceScale 1
VideoSettings.setUseBloom 1
VideoSettings.setVideoOptionScheme 3


change the red stuff to 800x600@60Hz

Do the same for the Video.con Files in all your profiles (folder names ar 001, 002, 003 etc)

then start the game

here it's geting better we have moved to the sixth worst place to live instead of 5th like last year
