dous anybody know how the points system works in BF2142?

i recently got promoted to captain gold (yesterday) , and now i get promoted to major silver.

but i still get to earn about 1500 points to get it.
i got about 22500 points, yesterday i got almost 20000 points.
i dont play that much so i find it weird that i get promoted that fast.
maybe 3 hours top in the morning.

i know that some of you find me a stats freak, maybe i am, maybe i like to play, but i dont care, i play with honor, and fair, but i still find it weird that i get promoted that fast.

for mayor silver you must have 50000 points, but dont have the half of it.

You may have to ribbons! ... there are two ribbons that are worth 2000 each!

i did get the "Legion of Merit ribbon" before i get promoted, that could be the reason then.
