BHD Installation Error

I've been trying to install my bhd recently as my hard drives were wiped not so long ago! And whenever i start installing it, it gets around halfway to where it says : resource.pff stays like that for a few mins then says something about moving data process :S

Anybody have any clue how to the fix the problem i would be grateful!! The only thing i think that could be wrong is the computer or maybe the cd is corrupt

I'm not sure if that worked, i used the PFF extractor, said i had to pay fore more than 15 'registry heals'.. so i downloaded a different free one, fixxed over 300 registry problems.. reset, and still get the same error... unless i'm not supposed to do that?

I cleaned a very badly damaged CD with BRASSO once, and it stil works fine :D

since i format my pc i couldn't install it also, but when i buy a new dvd writer i tryd it and then i could.
but when i install call of duty 2, i couldn't install it from directly, but when i open the dvd and click the exe file or install file it did work.

pc is a weird think sometimes.
