well as much as I've complained about what i percieve as flaws in gameplay i have still played about 60 hours of this online since its release. far to easy to do badly but smugness goes into overload when you are doing well. not as deep as bf2142 or bf2 more of an arcade game. me whale and milk play it often and jar is a big fan. just try it on someone elses machine first, you must have one friend!

I've only played it in Single Player. Very good I thought - it's hard to see how the graphics could get much better. Like Woody says, it's more arcade-like than BF2 - more like BHD in playability, but obviously much better technically.

You won't regret it Soup , it's a crackin online shooter , and knowing you - it won't take ya long to get the basejump or flyswatter awards , Amps might need to wait a wee bit for an M60e though.......

Autobalancing the teams on TDM is a nice touch too , the only drawback is that the pro gamers that spend every moment of their life online playing COD4 reach crazy levels ( before I sussed the juggernaut perk out and after emptying copious amounts of lead into other players with little or no impact , I thought there were a few with less than pristine habits ) and on a serious note - mucho gay screenshots can be had ( a la task force dagger ) with benny hill style chases etc.......team pics - say CHEESE and have a grenade........ahhhh the goooood old days.

UAVs are a pain in the arse though.

S&D's just the default mode, it can be changed on the fly using the CoD Rcon tool.

I managed to find the server on the second scan through the servers list this evening, ignore the ping...

Strange how a game called COD4 has only 6 server names starting with 'C'. Definately not right.
