Take the casing of your computer thingy and look inside. You should see lots of small things inside and wires and the like.

Next get a small electricians screwdriver, remove the insulated handle, and soak in water. Next at the top rear, well I think, you will see where the big cable from the hole in the wall joins your computer. This gives the computer what is known as 'power', technically its called electricity but thats another lesson.

Remove screw driver from water ensuring that your hand is also nice and wet, now touch any bare metal bits right next to the power area.

This will not fix the bug but should kill you by electrical shock, therefore the problem in 2038 will no longer be a problem that will worry you.
