I have built a new pc.
I have access to my old HD containing the full install of my COD4,
I have reinstalled COD4 on new pc using same dvd and cd key,
I have swapped accross the players profile from old HD to new install,
Old game name now shows but with 0 stats IE: No time played , No kills and no rank,
I dont get much time to get on and play these days and having to start from scratch s stopping me from opening the game at all, if anyone could help me regain my previous game status it would be greatly appreciated,
xx

are you running XP or Vista!!!
the players profile shows up on XP but not in Vista..
but you can still place it in the COD4 folder
I went from a computer running XP to a new build running Vista
and all I did was install the game on new computer, copy over the Activision file from XP to Vista updated the game but found NO player profile in the COD4 fold so copied player folder from XP to Vista, and that worked
if your running Vista on both computers, you can get a program that will back up your player profile for you...
hope this helps

64bit don't know much about it..
I run 32bit....
can you make the old HD a shared drive the should open all files on that drive...
if not what about making a DVD of the folder!!!
