Hiya the names Mikey from glossop ive just bought this game and addon pack from gamestation its way cool joint ops was 2nd hand and escalation was new my friends said your server was always the best in bhd and should look 4 your clan if u had 1 in escalation or joint ops and there u were i found u so i pressed to join your server and it said my account has beren banned b4 i even got in was wondering if u can help or shold i take game back to shop and get a new copy ??? :cry:

whoops - looks like ur up the creek without a paddle then. i dont know how they ban people here but check on novaworld to see if the cd key from the orignal JO (the 2nd hand one) has had a game wide ban put on it (might be way the original owners sold it to gamestation in the first place)

btw u are right about one thign tho - this is the best server currently for escalation certainly on international anyway

yup, thats probably it, we will check our internal banlist but you may find that the 2nd hand JO you bought has been banned by novaworld, in which case, take it back to the shop - sorry.

if you are on our internal banlist...

Ok Krazy, need to know what Name you use in the Game as Krazy is not in the ban List :S
Do you know the person you bought Joint Op's as some one personal, a close friend? If so what was his Game Name?

you are right about the best server here ::D: , its fun to play in, i always do,

you also have to join teamspeak , if possible, its even more fun, but i gone tell ya, there are weird people there :wtf:

i always join because i love to hear them talk, curse, but beware :wtf:

Ok Krazy, Your name is not in the ban list. Netheir is your IP address in the logs of our server.
Just a few more questions
A. Can you connect to other servers ok?
B. I take it do you have your own Novaworld account yes? not using someone else's account?

If your not using someone else's account and it is indeed your own account, i see no other options than.

1. Etheir your telling porkies. or
2. Whoever you bought the game from they need to delete the CD key from their Novaworld account and then it will reset the PCID account and will allow you to play. ( in theory) or
3. You will need to get another copy of Joint Ops, buying a 2nd hand PC game is at the end of the day illegal no matter what anyone says (not that i care) Add the CD key to your account, as long as you have not been using HACKS/TRAINERS or been BANNED from the TIN's Server for being BAD you should be able to get on ok ;)

listen ive just bought this copy 2nd hand im gonna look a real prat if i go back to gamestation this week and tell them that i cant get in this ATO server on escalation cause the previous owner has been banned prior arnet i

it dont matter if u look like a prat m8 - its their fault for selling a online only game who's cd keys been blocked - u dont need to say that its only blocked on one server (otherwise u stand a cats chance in hell of getting ur money back)
plus its also a good lesson - never buy second hand pc games ESPECIALLY from gamestation (they cause more grief than they're worth)

This is a bummer. I must admit I didn't know that buying a second hand game was illegal. There's enough of it going on - including in big name game retailers.

It does sound like you have a ligitimate reason for taking it back to where you bought it tho KRAZY. JO is unlike other games because it's online-only and you need to use the Nova account system. Gamestation should be ok with that. Doesn't solve the problem of having to buy a new copy of the game mind.

dude i aint rich - i'm a student for pitys sake but it just saves u a lot of hassle to buy games 1st hand - that way u kno that everything works/isnt damaged.

also i never get stuff from gamestation because they are rubbish - go to game, electronics boutique (if they still exist), www.play.com, www.amazon.co.uk, mvc etc they are much better and more reliable
