Why Is This Happening?

Hello Again,

I was hoping that after 12 PM last night, this was the last time I would need to post on these forums. However, I woke up today to see that I am still banned and that you have been researching our forums and ourselves.

Firstly, all we have tried to do is act in our honour and everyones best interests. The WN rules are there to ensure that everyone is friendly while also being able to have a laugh and give people chances. I dont see how banning us from your server repeatedly is being friendly or amiable.

Secondly, we do not appreciate you finding personal details about us and using it against us. There is absolutely no need for this and sometimes maturity doesnt come with age. Yes, we may be young, but if we have done nothing wrong, as we havent, then why should that present a problem at all.

Thirdly, I have found out that the reason for our second ban is that I used a bind "Free The People". That is impressive by anyones standard and Im sure that the level-headed people in this kind clan will realise that there is completely nothing wrong with saying "Free The People" once.

People, all we have tried to do is treat you with honour and respect and all you have done is been offensive to us. Your server can be a good server if the admins can be assured they are kicking people for the right reasons. Kicking is there to improve the server. Not ruin it for many people.

First of all thank you very much for a very well constructed post. You are to be congratulated for putting together words in such an order as to make sentences and paragraphs. I am assuming you are the clan/squad leader and have been promoted to this level due to your literary capabilities, well done you.

Secondly, how patronising of you to explain to all our members how important being inoffensive to other game players is and that we should try and excel ourselves to what are obviously very high levels of maturity and acceptance that flows from your clan/squad.

Whilst I was not about on the evening/morning of the dispute involving your members and fellow members of the A TIN OF squad, I feel personally insulted by your clan/squads members behavior.

As a squad we pride ourselves on the fact that we run servers for gamers where rules exist for all players to follow. If a player decides to ignore these rules he/she will be warned/advised to change their actions. If they deem to ignore this warning/advice they tend to be kicked or if deemed appropriate they will be banned.

In case you haven't yet realsised, this is not your server but a server provided for you to play on and respect like other gamers do. Your clan/squad is not so special that it can dictate to anybody providing you with a means to play an online game, as to how that service is provided.

I guess what I am saying is this, do not resume that by posting in our forums we will change either our decision regarding your players or that we change our standards based on your childish members behavior.

Sort your own house before you lecture the members of this repsected squad.

I presume you do not appreciate any further posting by the attitude I gained from your post but I would at least hope that this thread could be the end of our trouble, whether or not the bans are lifted. I have been involved in the whole incident and while my views on the situation may differ from yours, I would hope we could have unity to put this behind us and discontinue with the tracking down of our names and follow ups to the threats we received last night as I do not feel they are necessary.

May I begin by stating that davott is not the leader of our clan and that many of our members have literary capabilities and although I detect a hint of sarcasm here I hope that I can shed light upon the rumour that we are all teen idiots who can't string sentences together or deal with things in a grown up manner.

I believe this may have been slightly misinterpreted and we are not meaning to insult your rules or that we have higher standards than you in any shape or form, but rather to ensure that we try at all times to keep to our laws just as you do to yours. Whoever is in the wrong in this situation is obviously a mix of opinions, otherwise we would not continue to post our point on your forums, but all we ask is that we can put this aside with the bans still there if you deem it appropriate and end the threats or distasteful attitude we may encounter in the future.

I thoroughly understand and agree to these terms but I do not feel that this kind of attitude was upheld to our clan which is why we feel the banning was unjust. The first banning was a result of one of our clan members hitting a bind button on his keyboard containing recruitment information and we were not given a warning before being banned. Considering me and a few other wn members have been spending large amounts of time on your server and abiding to every rule you have set in place over the past number of weeks, I feel this was a little extreme for the infraction we inflicted upon you. That aside, when we posted up here the first time and got our bans lifted we happily jumped straight back into your server and as Davott stated it was purely because he stated a phrase along the lines of "they deserve to be freed". I can understand how you would misinterpret such a statement but it was purely accidental and conflicted terribly against the good intentions and gratitude we had towards your clan for unbanning us and giving us another chance.



I guess what I am saying is this, do not resume that by posting in our forums we will change either our decision regarding your players or that we change our standards based on your childish members behaviour.

We understand we are no longer wanted on these forums but after receiving an email which showed evidence that one of your members was intentionally trying to retrieve personal information about us we felt it was necessary to end this now as that action was a little over the top and proceeding to far into the matter.

If we could at least hear from the leader and acknowledge nothing else will be done about the matter, including lifting the bans, but rather this kind of invasion of privacy will discontinue and we can put this all behind us and continue playing the game we love.

You say that you try and keep to your laws as we do to ours. I am not sure, and I am sure other TINS will conform that we have a policy whereby we do not raid servers and abuse the host! Mixed opinions are obvious here, you believe you were right, we believe you were wrong, trouble is we decide what happens not YOU!

No matter how small the infraction was it did not merit your clan/squad members from attempting to post abuse on our forum's.

Finally from myself I would like to pass comment on your own abilities to be ignorant to an admin, as on Fri afternoon/evening I requested from you that you played by the rules, which you failed to acknowledge. For a player who is obviously well educated and understanding of what is known as common manners you failed to reply, which I find to be very rude. If an admin takes teh time to communicate with a player tehn the least teh player should acknowledge. Small point, maybe, but when this happens constantly it can be very frustrating.

Please feel free to reply, but at least try and understand that at no point will any members from this squad conceed that your clan/squad members behavior was acceptable.

ok, comments received guys. I'm closing this thread for now at least, so it doesn't end up rambling on to no purpose. I guess there'll probably be a bit more discussion internally, then someone will let you know the final position of the squad.

Well presented points imo, even if there's a tendancy to be condescending in parts. We'll need to look back over the original posts too, because from memory they also started off ok, but descending into some pure rubbish.

Can't remember for now if that was mainly from one of you, or more, including the mystery 'friend' shandlova who I think claimed not to know you.

Just before final closure. One of the reasons for the balnket ban was the posting of insulting/porn pictures in your previous thread.That alone is enough for a ban.
