I have had the pleasure in testing the Zowie Mouse Mat
This Mouse Mat arrived in a stylish black and silver box well presented for a mere mouse mat It’s not until you unravel and see its size its big it’s black it’s very big and black.
The Black mouse mat @ 340mm x 290mm is larger than your average mat which is really helpful when my 8 year old is trying to do her drawings and games on my pc it enables her to do one movement rather than lift the mouse and replace the mouse to the centre of the mat and start where she left off.
The rear of the mat is embossed with the Zowie logo the grip of the rubber backing is fantastic with no movement.
When I’m let rip online cod 4 or BF2 when I need to run like hell to avoid the bombs from a crap commander. The mat does not move on the desk no matter how hard you try. The mat is Easley cleaned and dried when I spill my beer after a late Friday night session when the beers flowingJ The only criticism is the logo on the box its black on black which works. On the mat its white on black either change the package label or change the mat label so they match. Overall I would give this product a 9/10 does exactly what it says.

my zowie mouse mat arrived today,,nicely packaged i must say,,upon unpacking i was pleasantly supprised how big it was,,
quiet a lot bigger than any other mat ive used,,so under my cyborg mouse the mat went and the 1st thing i noticed is how well
the map grips to my desk,,theres no chance what so ever of this mat moving around no matter how eratic you are with the mouse.
the mat gives a very nice feel to the mouse and gives a nice feeling with a light amount of controlled friction,,very impressive
indeed,,another bonus of the mat is that if you spill your beer on it ,it not a problem as it just wipes off realy easily..
so overall an excellent mat for the money and i would give it 9/10

I got my Zowie mouse mat just over a week ago. The first thing that I noticed was that it turned up rolled up in a box, strange concept as the traditional mouse mats are always cumbersome and awkward to transport.
When i opened the box up I was surprised at the size of the mat almost double that of a conventional mouse mat and made from cloth. To improve the feel and long term integrity of the mousemats Zowie use a heat & pressure process. The company explains on its website that cloth mousepads are made by yarn, which is made up of fibers. ZOWIE uses a heat & pressure process to reduce the irregularity of these fibers, to create a smoother surface. This makes a surface that though different to expectations is pleasant to use over prolonged periods of gaming.
The base is made out of natural rubber and a mix of various compounds. Zowie claims this results in better traction and better grip than standard mousemats with a base made exclusively of natural rubber. This work extremely well because the mousemat didn't slip during testing by any members of the family. This was during intense call of Duty sessions through to my 7 year old using his wonderful mouse technique!
Being able to spill beer on the mat and wipe it off was great, Those who invoke the 5 second rule, may have even been able to get a fair amount of the spillage back in to the glass due to the non absorbption by the mat and the way it just sits on the surface.
Drawback I have a cat who walks around the P.C area regularly and the cat hairs does seem attracted to the mat, though cleaning the surface is a simple task.
Overall- very nice piece of kit. Well made and durable. I see it having a very long shelf life, and being very useful in the LAN gaming world as easy to transport and you could use it anywhere.
8/10

From what I can see it's good, it's very responsive, I have a god awful millenia old mouse but my friend was using his razer mouse on it and had to change his settings as the mat was so responsive to the mouse.
Texture etc is good and it's a fair size making playing strategy games alot easier, don't play much fps apart from TF2 but it made some of the faster classes like scout alot easier to play as aiming didn't take a weeks worth of moving my wrist.
The game I play most is audiosurf which is a bit like guitar hero for pc but with any song and it made this so much easier even with this crappy mouse as it was just clear straight away that the mat was responsive and just all round great.
I'd give it an 8/10, only problem is that an old mouse on it is still an old mouse but with modern stuff and newer games it's great *thumbs up!*
