FAO Sig makers (tins and others)

Ok - I'm sorry for making yet anoter post but I really think that this could be quite cool

How about we have a sig making contest?

We can assign A Tin to the judging, then we get all those who want to take part to make a sig! It can be made for any1 aslong as it isn't a holiday sig.....

You may use whatever program you want.

Any regulars who think they can make a decent sig can try too! It's open to all!



All of this can only happen if it's allowed

We already had one at the start of the year and PAINT declared himself overall winner (seeing as no-one else actually bothered their backsides doing one for themselves I agreed with PAINT and declared him overall winner...even though his sig was one of the ugliest pieces of crap I have ever seen in all my years on the forums)

nah ... liking or disliking a sig is very much a matter of personal taste. What seems cool to one person is crap to another. If you like your own sig that's all that matters. I wouldn't vote in a contest for that reason.

id say no, cos its a right hassle administratin that sort of compo....

we'd need a panel of judges.

people wouldn't like us cos we didn't pick their sig as a winner

we'd get people accusing other peeps for nickin grfx from elsewhere
(i've already seen this in some of the sigs on our board)

Well I just thought that it would be good fun to see who was the best - we would COULD have a vote for every1 on the forums - any1 who see's it could vote on it - once we all have done the sigs we could send them to 1 person and then he/she could post showing them all (clearly stating who's was who's) with that post he/she would put on a poll, then leave it open to all - we will have the vote for say 3 - 4 days, after that we see who is the best sig maker..............................

Why don't you pop over to Nova-Inside and have a bash at their SOTW competition, it's been running for ages and the quality is sweet compared to our lame efforts lol :wink:

Yea sounds fun - and I just simply love embarressing myself :P I've entered b4 but lost the website ady and couldn't see how awful thay thouhg my sigs were :oops: :oops: lol

we were having a sotw (sif of the week) contest every week and it was ok to start with.
there were like 5 or six entries but after a few weeks the novelty of it died down, so unless u have quite a few people that r interested in doing this then it (from own experience) would prob b popular for a couple of weeks then u will prob find u only get a couple of entrys which it then becomes a pointless contest.
