Is that BHD server still running?

How are you all, guys? Long time - no communicado.

Been on a bit of a journey here, long story, dull, uninteresting, but back home now.

Last time I tried to play BHD on-line, it was asking me to register my username with the serial key from my cd (oops).

Is that still the case? Or was I doing it wrong? Or do I need to (gulp) buy the game.

hi dude ,,you could also use df pinger and manualy type in the server ip's .. we will be getting the bhd server up and running soon but at the moment its just up on demand ,,it might be up tonight as a few people wouldnt mind a bash later ,,around 7ish id say :1 (97):

About 7-ish, you say, roger that.......d/l'ed pinger, it keeps giving me an error-box..'Invalid Config Value:UseExpressLogin'......dunno what that is. Could you post the IP on here, please? And what's the correct Nova Page these days? And how do you play this BHD game? What's my name? Where am I? Who said that? Does your chewing-gum loose its flavour on the bed-post overnight?

Looks like I'm gonna need a bit more talking down than just the IP, loaded pinger and it's not showing anything...not sure I've got the right Nova lobby page anymore, can't reinstall the game, lost the serial key..........Help.....aid.......assistance........

Uh oh.................kinda f*c*ed it completely now, Single Player greyed out, Multi Player greyed out.......is this Nova protecting their 7 year old investment and dumping everyone who doesn't have a pukka version?

umm shouldnt be dude,,,basicly you need to point pinger to ur bhd instalation..then goto main screen,,in bottom part of pinger right click and hit add server,,you get 2 choices so make sure you hit add by ip and just add the ip in the previous post,,you then need to hit what looks like the 3-4 pieces of paper in the middle of pinger between the 2 halvs just to the left of the 2 bhd icons and that should be it dude

Cool, done all that, getting in........but getting kicked after about 10-12 secs..........any ideas?

have you done the updates dude,,if you have and ur on vista you need to run bhd as administrator

update keeps fkng out, then I have to reinstall to play sp or mp, running under XP. You must be seeing me joining and leaving again......bloody frustrating, so it is.

umm wierd dude ,,u could try just installing bhd and the bhd only update as we aint on team sabre

When you're reinstalling make sure to delete the old bhd folders before you start. Think that can screw things up.

Yeah, I did all that in the end, finding out you were on vanilla BHD was the thing, managed to get on no probs then. Still one of the fun-est games going. If only publishers wouldn't try to improve stuff all the time. Thanks, guys, good to play again.

yeahhhh, i had the same probs but i managed to get in eventually, it was a good game , but im confused with the new maps you guys put in , sneaky sneaky.. 6 AIRSTRIKE DOESNT WORK

When's the server gonna be up again, guys? What do you run it on? Have I got a grunty enough reserve pc to run a successful server? Still got all the ports set-up on my router from years ago. Why don't I just do it instead of asking questions all the time? Have I really become this indecisive in the last few years?

at the moment i run it on my pc dude ,,,soup has put us a dedicated pc up for games in his shop but we are still waiting to sort out a static ip for it

Been wondering if I could get away with putting one up in the school where I work. I run all the systems and administer the firewall, so I guess I could.........
