Guys, my flatmate is using an old 6600 xfx graphs card and its time for him to move on in life ( itold him) lol.. He can play cod 4 no probs, ping is always on 100's but with World At War he doesnt stand a chance , so im asking if anyone has a decent graphics card they would sell to get in touch n let me know please, he cant afford a new one , just a second hand one will do , 8800 or 9600 something like that ... £60's worth.

Cheers,
Iceking

yup i saw the 8800 on ebay, we are looking at that one just now , the 8800 is better still than the 9600 i believe so he may go for that one, unfortunately someone gives the info that no one wants to here.... " if youd been a little sooner " Aaaarrrrrgggghhhhhhh lmao

Cheers guys , now as for my system , i need a new CPU fan , i have the quad 6600 2.4 and im using the fan that came with the CPU , but i have been told to get a new one as the supplied versions are sh*t, so what should i go for , i was looking in ebuyer but there is many.

You could go for the ARCTIC COOLING FREEZER 7 (http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Home/Product/11433/Arctic-Cooling-Freezer-7-Pro-P4-upto-4-4GHz) ... Awesome cooler for the price.

Or if you have a little extra to spend you could go with the the same cooler as me ... A Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-068-TR) with a 120mm Scythe S-FLE (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-005-SY)X fan.

ICE I have a Sapphire 2600XT with an Accelero S1 Rev.2 Cooler installed on it if you wanna make me an offer?

The cooler is silent and about 8 months old, probably worth £10 on its on, so £40 and its yours.

thanks craic but he is going to go for a 9600 xfx card but he says thanks anyway for getting in touch , and i appologise for the delay due to having to buy a new HDD and reinstalling everything n trying to remember passwords for everywhere.

personaly i wouldnt waste 70 odd quid on that card dude,,a good 8800 around the same price will beat that hands down...i had the xfx 8800 alpha dog version for 2 years and its recently passed away on me so i bought a 260 for £150 and theres no difference to my old 8800,,,wish id saved 80 quid and bought another 8800

but really the 8800 is hard to comeby.. even on ebay and im always weary about buying things like graphics cards on ebay as i always expect them to have been tweaked to its peek hence the reason others sell them.
